Workshop bookings are offered under two rate options:Workshop Full Room & Board FLEXIBLE RateWorkshop Full Room & Board PREPAID Rate Your booking page will show which option you selected.​Option A: Workshop Full Room & Board FLEXIBLE Rate Deposit: A $500 workshop deposit is required to secure your space. This deposit is applied to your total balance.​Cancellation / Changes:More than 60 days before arrival: Refund available minus a $75 cancellation fee OR deposit may be transferred to another workshop at no charge.60 to 31 days before arrival: Refund minus $250 cancellation fee OR choose a credit toward a future stay at no charge.30 to 0 days before arrival: $500 deposit is nonrefundable, OR choose a credit toward a future stay with a $250 change fee. Why the policy is firm: We are contractually required to pay the workshop facilitator even if an attendee cancels. ​Option B: Workshop Full Room & Board PREPAID Rate This option provides a discount in exchange for full pre-payment of the reservation and a nonrefundable policy. Payment: Full prepayment is required. Workshops at The Landgrove are designed as a full room + board creative retreat, so everything is easy and immersive. ​ Your workshop stay includes: Workshop instruction and programming Lodging at The Landgrove Inn Three meals per day, including 3-course dinners Welcome reception on the first night Gratuity included (for package meals) All meals are shared communally — it’s a key part of the learning, connection, and community experience.

Yes! Workshop attendees often bring a partner/friend to tag along on their Southern Vermont Art Workshop. We require each additional guest to be on the full board meal package as well, and all guests will be served 3 meals with the group.

We love welcoming neighbors into our workshops. Because workshops are designed as an immersive experience with shared meals and community: Meal package is required Local participants are required to purchase the full workshop meal package. If you would prefer not to purchase the meal package, we can place you on a waitlist and confirm your space 60 days prior to the workshop, based on availability. The Landgrove Studio is run by owners Bruce and Emily Haupt. Individual workshops are taught by visiting nationally recognized instructors who come to Landgrove for three-, four- and five-day sessions throughout the year.
